Wanda Chrome

Wanda Chrome and the Leather Pharaohs "Eleven The Hard Way" LP (1/1996)

That's right folks, your pals here at Splunge Communications, Inc. are pleased as punch to present this vinyl gem to the world. Perhaps best described as 'A hard core glam-band that's seen too many biker films', WC&LP has been making it thier business to see as much of the American Rust Belt, East Coast, and European Community from the inside of a van as possible. While home for most of last Spring, the band took some time to record "Eleven the Hard Way" live at thier favorite hometown haunt, the now defunct Quarters Rock Palace.

"Eleven" features Wanda Chrome favorites such as "Werewolf" from thier Splunge 45, "When You Lose" from the GroundUp compilation, new tunes such as our office favorite "Prisoners", and covers from the likes of the Flamin' Groovies and MC5.

Wanda and Company have a 6 week European tour planned for April and part of May 1996. That's where you come in, At this point the band is looking for a European pressing deal to help unleash "Eleven the Hard Way" upon the EC and/or a European distribution deal for the American vinyl-only pressing. We'll be in contact with you soon.

Anyway, keep in mind that here in good 'ol Milwaukee, Wisconsin, when we clean up our Harley's and AMX's in the garage for our first Spring cruise you can bet yer ass we're listening to Wanda Chrome. The rock and roll trio that Marlon Brando never had. Fuck Fonzie, Get Chromed!

Want to hear some Wanda Chrome and the Leather Pharaohs? Of course you do....
